Eastern New Mexico will represent the Lone Star Conference in the 2019 Heritage Bowl against Southern Arkansas on Dec. 7 at Corsicana ISD's Tiger Stadium in Corsicana, Texas. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. For the third time in program history, the Greyhounds will compete in an NCAA Division II sanctioned bowl game after competing in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl in 2015 and 2016. ENMU, who finished the season 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the LSC, will have a chance to match the second-highest win total in program history against the Muleriders.

Southern Arkansas will be making their second-consecutive postseason appearance for the first time since playing in back-to-back bowl games in 1947 and 1948. The Muleriders finished with a record of 8-3 overall and in the Great American Conference. The Heritage Bowl (formerly the Corsicana Bowl) is an annual Division II Post-Season Collegiate Football Game held in Corsicana ISD's Tiger Stadium in Corsicana, Texas. Established in 2017, the game is played each year the first Saturday in December. The two participating teams will consist of schools competing in the Lone Star Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association and/or the Great American Conference. - Lone Star Football
